About these terms
These terms apply to the HBTT app and the website at hbtt.app, both provided by Filipe Martins, called “we” here. By using either one, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.

A product in development
HBTT is still in development, with no release date or price announced. Descriptions and screenshots show what’s built today and may change before release. The platforms we list are targets, not a promise that an app is available.
Your licence to the app
When you get HBTT through the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement is your licence to use it. These terms add to that agreement, and it prevails if the two conflict. Apple handles purchases and refunds under its own terms, and TestFlight’s terms apply to any beta.
Not medical advice
HBTT isn’t a medical device. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it doesn’t give medical recommendations. You choose your own goals and targets, and HBTT doesn’t suggest whether they’re right for you.
Readings come from Apple Health and your devices, and they can be late, missing or inaccurate. Talk to a health professional before making decisions about your health, and contact your local emergency services in an emergency. The journal offers general ideas to try, not treatment.
Blocking, limits, timers and reminders
App blocking and daily limits use Apple’s Screen Time. They’re a nudge you can open when you need to, not a lock, and they aren’t a parental control. They depend on your device and on iOS, so they can be delayed or fail to apply.
Reminders, timers and alarms depend on your device’s settings and the system too. Don’t rely on HBTT for anything where a missed alert could cause harm, such as medication, and don’t block anything you might need urgently.
Your data
The app stores your data on your devices, as our Privacy Policy explains. There’s no account and nothing on our side, so we can’t recover data that’s lost. Keeping device backups is up to you. Goal names can appear on your Lock Screen and in widgets, so choose names you’re comfortable with.
Goal drafts
Goal drafts come from Apple’s on-device model and can be wrong. They’re suggestions for you to review, so check a draft before you save it.
Using HBTT fairly
Please use the app and website lawfully. Don’t try to disrupt them, get into systems behind them, send automated signups, or copy or resell them. Nothing here removes any right you have by law to study or adapt software.
Content and trademarks
The app, this website, and HBTT’s name, icon, text and images belong to us or their licensors. What you enter in the app stays yours. Apple, Apple Watch, iPhone and related names are trademarks of Apple Inc. HBTT isn’t made or endorsed by Apple.
Other services
HBTT relies on Apple’s services, such as Apple Health, Screen Time and Siri, and this website links to other sites. We don’t control them, and their own terms apply.
Availability and liability
We build HBTT with care, but we can’t promise it will always be available, free of errors or give you a particular result. We may change, pause or end features or the website.
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect loss, for data lost from your device, or for decisions based on readings or a missed alert. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, such as for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence.
Your rights by law
These terms don’t take away the rights consumer law gives you where you live, including rights about faulty digital content and the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as HBTT develops, and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. If you keep using HBTT after a change, the new terms apply from then on.
